Page Layout or Prepress Expert
Uses artistic techniques to layout pages in advance of Web or print publishing. Fundamental skills include arranging text and graphics on a page to meet marketing objectives, developing and managing templates, applying styles, and preparing documents for publication. Typical applications include: QuarkXPress, InDesign, and FrameMaker.
Animator / Multimedia Designer
Uses artistic techniques to create dynamic objects that mix elements of text, graphics, sound, and motion. Fundamental skills include drawing and editing graphics, manipulating film or video images, and employing applications to enhance the spatial, temporal, or acoustical qualities of graphical objects. Typical applications include: Flash, Director, LiveMotion, and After Effects.
