Microsoft Gold Certified Partners for Learning Solutions (Gold Certified Partners) earn this elite status by taking their businesses to a level few technology training organizations in the world can match. Though all Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers must meet rigorous standards for training delivery, facilities, and customer satisfaction, Gold Certified Partners are held to an even higher standard.
Gold Certified Partners have the knowledge, skills, and commitment required to meet the learning and skill development needs of information technology (IT) professionals and software developers who work in medium-to-large enterprise organizations that are running Microsoft products and technology. Gold Certified Partners provide a complete portfolio of customized learning solutions, including:
- Project-based skills assessment.
- Learning plans.
- Learning management tools.
- Classroom and online training delivery.
- Microsoft Certified Professional exam preparation.
Every Gold Certified Partner has demonstrated the ability to successfully deliver an extensive range of learning services—including Microsoft .NET development and IT infrastructure training at the enterprise level. Best of all, Gold Certified Partners have the experience necessary to meet your exact business needs.

Certified Partners for Learning Solutions (CPLS)

A Microsoft CPLS must meet these following requirements:
- Submit a business plan for each location that you would like to qualify for membership in the Learning Solutions Competency.
- Employ or contract with at least two exclusive full-time or part-time Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) per location applying for the Learning Solutions Competency.
- Submit at least one customer reference
for previously conducted training solutions that focused on any of the
following categories: Information Technology Professional Training, Microsoft
.NET Developer Training, Solution Offerings Training, End User/Career Changer
Training.
References can be based on a private training engagement with a medium-sized or enterprise customer or on a public, open enrollment training that targets End Users or Career Changers. See the Learning Solutions Benefits and Requirements Guide for details.
Each reference will be verified with your customer. - Deliver all public, open enrollment training and private, limited enrollment classes using Official Microsoft Learning Products Courseware or Microsoft Business Solutions Courseware.
- Meet quarterly minimum Microsoft courseware acquisition requirements. Minimum volume requirements (MVR) are set on a quarterly, per-country basis.

Establish, publish, and make available to all customers your quality control and general customer-satisfaction policies.

Gold Certification Status Requirements
New Horizons is proud to be a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS), the highest level of partnership for Microsoft Learning Partners. This credential establishes New Horizons as the only Microsoft Gold CTEC in many of our regions and recognizes our outstanding performance among CPLSs. Our Gold designation certifies our staff as experts in Microsoft products and benefits our customers because we can offer wider access to Microsoft products, participation in selected product and services beta programs, and the potential for volume-based discounts, such as the Software Assurance program. All Microsoft courses are taught by Microsoft Certified Trainers using Microsoft Official Curriculum.
In order to obtain Gold Certified status, a Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) must:

Be a current Microsoft CPLS & meet the default CPLS requirements (above)

Obtain at least two exclusive Microsoft Certified Professionals or at least one tested solution

Obtain at least one Microsoft Competency
